ANTIQUE FLOORING FROM RECYCLED WOOD

The old white oak flooring is lined with ethylene-vinyl acetate (EVA) sheet for sound absorption. The surface is coated with wax or a thin film. This prefabricated sheet of flooring material does not contain volatile organic compounds. The surface of the wood is sanded with a wire brush to create a unique texture. The polyvinyl acetate (PVAC) adhesive is applied to the EVA linings.
